Mortgages

Pending the valuation for mortgage purposes I have one. It should be ok as the survey we had didn't throw up any surprises, and I'm am getting the house for a very good price so I can't see them valuing it for even less.

It won't be taken off the market until I have the full mortgage offer*, and there's no security till an exchange happens so it's kinda tense, but hopefully things will work out.

Not that I find it entirely easy to believe it's happening, though the growing mountain of paperworks helps.

*Unlike on the initial offer that was accepted, when they took it off the market while they were aware I wasn't even sure if it was affordable (depending on payrise)

Left 4 Dead

Playing the Left 4 Dead demo was a huge amount of fun, and I'm seriously tempted by the full game.

However it is a online co-op game primarily, so I'd like to know some of my friends have it or will get it before I go and invest in it myself.

So is anyone out there getting it?

For those that don't know, basically 4 hardcore player survivors vs 4 respawning special zombie players playing the special zombies joining hordes of AI zombine, in a cinematic movie style game. With the number and type of zombie spawning controlled by the AI director. The most wonderfully entertainly sadistic AI I've encountered in a game so far.
