LT Character Clarification
Jun. 28th, 2004 05:37 pmI'm not sure if I accurately described how the character's memory will work, so I'll put in some more details with examples. I like examples, it helps to get around my ability to not actually say what I mean. Anyway:
1) He will have no ability to match names and faces, or recall names but will recognise if he's met someone before or the name of someone he knows if it's mentioned:
eg If he meets someone he knows, let's take Empress Akasha, the conversation would go something like this:
Um I know you, um your, um... give me a second I just need to look it up. Lets see female... short... strange black and green patterns on face... Ah, yes, um hello your, um Empress.
2) He will often forget why he's doing something while he's doing it:
*gets feared*
*runs*
[ten seconds later] 'um where am I going, and why am I running? Oh well I'm sure it'll be apparent in a minute' *continues to run for a few more seconds, then stops and looks confused*
3) He won't know at all that he can heal, but will still channel. So expect vocals along the lines of:
'Are you alright? That looks bad, *touches their wounded head* [pattern scan]. Hmm, your bleeding, that really isn't good. What that's strange my arms starting tingling, and your wound appears to be closing, almost as if my touch is healing you. I'll just leave my hand here on the off chance... Yes your wounds are healing, um how strange. You're definitely being healed by something *few seconds healing finishes* Why are you on the floor? What was I holding your head for? Where was all this blood from. Oh well I'm sure it wasn't important *wanders off*
My goals for the Gathering are as follows:
1) Collect plot, note it down on paper and then lose the pieces of paper around the place for people to find.
2) Do 1) so well, that people start following me around to find out what's happening.
3) Meet and get a description of every Unicorn in my black book.
4) Get noticed enough that someone is assigned to keep an eye on me, so I don't get lost.
5) Generate as many comedy moments primarily for my own amusement, and the amusement of people I know, possibly with help from other people to set it up.
