If you had to pick one person you really hope you don't have to trust, but are expecting to have to trust with your life or something equally important, who? And why them?

Aurinyan: There have been far too many people who I have had to put some measure of trust in at risk of my own safety while on missions over the years. Too many to recount, and infact there aren't any I have yet met which I haven't yet had to trust my life to. Perhaps though that village was worst, because then I had no choice.

Seeker Harold Cumberland: Well in some ways I've already had to, by going on missions with him, but currently Trantis. The fellow is nice enough, if misguided, but ultimately a death priest how could happily trust him with my life. There are more important things than my life though, I've had good opportunities with it so far.

Lucien the Swaeger: It hast already been a case, but I must mention the wench Tracy. Though she did not cause mine life to be forfeit, she hast certainly tried by her actions.

Linte Masta: They all seem good to me, those I've met anyway. If I had to pick Calum because I expect him to get too distracted with a duel to save me if I needed it.

Sihoiba Keeper: Well I haved to trust Staed every day and that's fairly bad, but right now I think my life will be in trust of the Dragon of Pelegos at some point, and that I'm not looking forward to. Even if Hafrin being too scared of the dragon to come be smarmy at me would be a bonus.

Turk: Princess Miranda, I can see my life being in her hands at some point. Ralph worries me, Zephyr is a fool, and Michael an idiot, none of them are good options, but neither has been having to trust anyone these past few weeks. Still that princess is the worst of the bunch.

Durant: Um I don't really remember anyone...

To Aurinyan...

So, you and drow - are they all that evil, or do you just think they're ugly?

Date: 2007-02-28 07:25 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] same-difference.livejournal.com
They are an abomination to be purged from this world and every other, the very existence of them is a blight and an insult. Evil and ugly are just two of the myriad of ways they could be described, but ultimately the only thing worth discussing about them is how to best annihilate them all.

To all: *gestures towards the bar* So, what's your poison?

From: [identity profile] same-difference.livejournal.com
Aurinyan: I'm sorry, I don't have one, it would merely distract me from my work, but if you are offering a drink a glass of wine would be good.

Seeker Harold Cumberland: An ale, if possible one I haven't tried yet, though you'll struggle to find one. Otherwise anything you think I should try, I am always happy to try something new.

Lucien the Swaeger: If thou couldst purchase a portion of goodly mead from yonder bar, it wouldst bring mineself much joy.

Linte Masta: Anything sweet that comes in shots.

Sihoiba Keeper: *Casts: Detect Magic, and scans patron for enchantments* A beer as quickly as you can I'd like a chance to have a quiet drink before Staed turns up.

Turk: *Panics on being in a pub until he realises Bandez, Jed, and Esselt aren't present* Anything just as long as it's strong. Don't bother with glasses the bottles will be fine.

Durant: I have no idea, let's try one and see... Why am I hear again? Let me check my notes... *stares at his own drink* is this anyones?

To all:
Pirates or Ninjas?
Henchmen or Minions?
Cavemen or astronauts?

And if you could remove one thing from the world, what would it be?

Date: 2007-03-01 04:49 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] same-difference.livejournal.com
Aurinyan:
Pirates they are more likely to attack in daylight that ninjas. My apologies if you weren't referring to fighting them, but don't tell me they aren't going to attack, I've been on far too missions to believe that.

Minions, golem ones, totally under my control to make them an undeterrable army when I make my move against the drow.

Men who live in caves or something else I don't know? Hmm, I'll take my chances with these 'astronauts' there's no much I can do against people inside caves after all.

An easy question the Drow every single one, including the half breeds. Though why stop at this world?

Seeker Harold Cumberland:
Well as I've been involved in stealing a ship before, and I've done a fair amount of sailing, I think I might already count as a pirate, so ninjas for a change.

Henchmen, the term minion implies they have no freedom to do what they want, and minions are so much harder to persuade to surrender than henchmen.

Astronauts as some thing possibly to do with astrology seems more interesting than caves, I think I have had more than enough experiences in caves for now.

Necromancy, too many souls are suffering for eternity on the planes of death because of this. Plus it would weaken the Nykrul empire too.

Lucien the Swaeger:
Pirates art fell criminals and ninja dost enter battle in fell and devious ways, whilst it ist good to bring down such ruffianly miscreants, neither foe wouldst bring me worship more than the other.

Henchman, there ist naught worship in bringing low a warrior who serves as but one man of many, but to defeat a chosen warrior of a true enemy thatst its truly the pathe of the worshipful knight.

Unlest by cavemen thou meanest the drow, in which case it bringeth mineself goodly joy to enter battle as did mine ancestors, fighting there greate warriors in fair and honest duels. Nay, I canst not understand thy question, so it ist not mine place to choose.

I wouldst remove naught, the world doth bringe many a greate challenge in whichst all can earn for thyselves great worship. Nay, there ist one such thing that I wouldst change for the goodly sake of all men of goodly standing and from the poorest to thy greate men oft noble blood, the wench Tracy from goodly quests andst from any such places where she mightest have influence.

Linte Masta:
Ninjas definitely, they've got to be faster than pirates.
Minions then they'd have to move quickly when I told them to.
I don't understand the options, so whichever would win in a race.

Slow patrols, definitely remove slow patrols. You'd think with all there training those guards and things could move faster in their armour.

Sihoiba Keeper:
Pirates, nothing better than the open waves.
Minions they are always easier to defeat than henchmen.
What's an astronaut?

What to remove from the world, well I've already got ridden of Spikes sword, and stopped Staed from being able to mention his name. I know all the political machinations in the Wave Kingdoms by the humans. I'd like to visit where I was born one day, and they've already tried to ruin my hope of doing that once.

Turk
Pirates, ninja's don't exactly make a name for themselves. A good pirate though will get a big bounty on their head, and there's more chance of treasure to reclaim too.

Henchmen, minions are rarely worth the copper for turning them in, a good henchman pays well though.

Astronauts don't know what they are they are bound to be worth more in bounty than cavemen.

Well if removing something from the world would undo all it had done, Princess Miranda, otherwise the Red Prince's influence over the paladins. It'll would make getting revenge that much easier.

Durant
Pirates or Ninjas? I'm not sure if I've ever met either, which one, which one, um what was the options again? Do I know you? Where am I?

Henchmen or Minions? I'm not sure if I've ever met either, which one, which one, um what was the options again? Do I know you? Where am I?

Cavemen or Astronauts? I'm not sure if I've ever met either, which one, which one, um what was the options again? Do I know you? Where am I?

Remove something from the world, sure that thing, you know, don't you?
...um what was the question?

Aurinyan: Panic and attempt to turn invisible, then depending on if it worked or not try and find a way home or panic some more, and go find somewhere to hide.

Seeker Harold Cumberland: Curiosity, I'd try and approach everyone I can and start asking questions, at some point it should involve being in a pub.

Lucien the Swaeger: I wouldst do the only thing that a warrior on such a goodly venture shouldst do, ask the local common folk for the residence of the local lord so I couldst pledge mine sword to him in service whilst I explore this new lande.

Linte Masta: Confusion, followed by distracted excitement as I spot all those fast moving vehicles.

Sihoiba Keeper: Look for Zath, worry. Then go and hide at the bottom of the River to think, and work out what I'm still capable of.

Turk: Turn and swear at the Sun, then curse Miranda, the Red Prince and Miranda again for good measure, then go and locate a pub to buy or intimidate some strong alcohol for myself.

Durant: Mild confusion, I'm used to not recognising where I am, or
who's around me.

To Aurinyan
Biscuit and Breeze have found a puppy, its cute and they've named it Princess Bridebride. Both have laid claim to it both saying that it is there ancestral birthright and that thier childhood puppies were killed by drow. Gish has eaten your staff while high. What would do to quell this inevitable apocalypse?

Date: 2007-03-02 01:28 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] baloonworld.livejournal.com
In addition, fearing the inevitable beating, Biscuit has taken refuge in a traveling freakshow; in order to blend in he is attemptig to teach Princess Bridebride to walk on her hind legs.*

*this will leave her forepaws free for casting

Date: 2007-03-02 05:04 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] same-difference.livejournal.com
You'd don't get beaten unless you doing something dangerous without me there to stop you from dying. It's a simple lesson, though one you struggle to grasp. I beat you so you will learn not for any other reason.

The solution is obvious Breeze must take up residence inside Biscuit's pope hat, ensuring both of you forever more have equal access to Princess Bride Bride. Plus the addition of Breezes legless form above your head will ensure your better blending in with the travelling freak show.

Breeze's new hat can be given to Princess Bride Bride to wear as it's wide rim will help her balance as she walks on her hind legs.

Gish's eating of the staff is of minimal concern, unless he comes down with silver poisoning, if so then I shall be heading to the travelling freak show shortly to give you further instruction.
