That test Meme everyone is doing

I tell people a lot about me. I've often remarked that you can know most of who I am within about 10 minutes, and most about me in 20 more. If I get talking then chances are there is very little I haven't said. So then let's see what people actually know.

The badly designed system seems to have cut the end of some of the answers, so I'm sure you can all blame that for your low scores (Of course I could argue that if you knew the answers anyway the missing words wouldn't have helped that much). Still help those in future I've put the complete answer options (with bolded missing letters) behind a cut:
6)c)Italian with a certain amount of evolution over time
10)a)I used to cycle regularly until some cycled into me
c)The drums is the first instrument I'm learning to play
15)c)I still occasionally say the Lord's Prayer when it's important but make a point of saying each sentence with meaning and thought behind it.
17)a)To get a pain killing effect from having something soft applied to the injured area
d)To answer the phone with 'Hello, who is speaking please'.
19)b)As a small child I used to mostly fall over head first into glass doors
20)c)The word my brain has failed to find in time for my mouth to say

Date: 2007-01-11 09:34 am (UTC)Actually, why can't I answer this quiz? Go back, and re-write it based on "things that could be learnt about you at repeated canteen lunches". Then I'll answer it. ;-) I think we didn't talk trivia so much then, and the stuff we did talk might not make such good public LJ!

Date: 2007-01-11 10:41 am (UTC)Q1 - I've mentioned my sibling(s) on my LJ repeatedly and you have even commented on being aware of what I have repeatedly.
Q2, 6, 7, 10, 13, 17 and 19 are what I would consider my standard and oft repeated anecdotes.
Q5, 17 I've definitely written specific LJ posts about, some of the others have been mentioned on occasion.
Q9 is researchable.
Q14 I do often enough that you should have seen it.
Q16 the wrong answers have all been mentioned on LJ.
Q20 everyone should get.
Q3, 4, 8, 11, 12, 15 and 18 get mentioned but not as frequently.
In all fairness I don't talk about Q4 much as it doesn't and shouldn't affect my day to day life.
I would have thought a score around 60% would be reasonable easy to achieve. Guess I'll just have to regale you all with my 'classic' stories then.

Date: 2007-01-11 12:45 pm (UTC)1) Yes, and I've seen the LJ of one of them, but the other(s) (that surprised me) would do so again - they only featured in one story so far, so never got to be a part of my image of you.
2) Maybe we don't swap anecdotes that often. I don't know this one at all. :-/
3) I guess I haven't been around when you've mentioned this one.
4) As above.
5) It might sound weird, but I don't tend to easily recall my friend's phobias (and allergies) unless I see them triggered. And I haven't seen you shy from a dog, for example.
6, 7) As 2...
8) As 3.
9) Well, it may be researchable, but no offense intended, this is only an LJ quiz.
10) I do know two of these to be true, but of course that didn't help me answer!
11, 12) As 3.
13) I'm not sure I can imagine the conversation that this would come up in - not so as I'd know what the mispellings looked like, anyway!
14) If it's about your eyebrows, I guess I never stopped to make a close mental note about WHICH ONE YOU RAISE. :-P
15) As 3.
16) I didn't realise there was going to be a test...
17) Again, I know two of these to be true, but that doesn't give me an accurate answer! Plus, this question is therefore mean. I know at least two interesting things about you, yet I'm still left not able to prove it!
18) As 3.
19) As 17 - I know one for certain, but that's not enough!
20) Yeah, I knew the answer to 20. ;-)
There, I answered. :-)
