Busy weekend

Which is why I'm posting now.

Saturday saw P and I celebrate 1 year of living together in a very nice way.

Sunday, I went down to W-S-M to see friends who were down for the weekend. Seeing as one is in Nottingham and the other in Scarborough, it's good to take the opportunity to see them when they are closer. Also visited the local sea life centre. As always came away with that combination of slight wonder, and sadness. The creatures in those places never have enough space.

Yes the more I know about fishcare, the harder I find it to go to some of these places. I worry about my little feesh but they are well below the limits for ethical population to tank size. One day you'll have to meet 'em.

The sadder thing for me was that they had a notice up saying that loads of the fish were taken on from members of the public who had just tired of them. Apparently the vast majority of such fish can't be taken in and just die.

Yes its shocking how irresponsible a lot of fish owners are ... but very heartening to meet many that are incredibly dedicated.
