Moving preperation

Three days till I move, so first if anyone is free Friday and Saturday and wants to help me carry stuff, particularly if there are one of the significant portion of Bath I've help move over the last few years, please let me know.

At the moment I'm looking at gas, electric and water suppliers. It's fun comparing prices when you don't have a current supplier, thankfully parents are on hand to provide approximate figures. If anyone has any useful advice that would also be appreciated.

Then of course there is the packing to do, which I've kind of been avoiding. It'll be weird actually moving out, even if I am cunningly attempting to turn my room into my drumming practice room ;-) I say avoiding I've been playing the games I now own, and so it's hard to tell if I'm getting distracted or have alterior unconscious/semi-conscious motives.

Lastly my D&D books arrived today, now I can distract myself producing my campaign more actively.

I really hate house moves but this might in part be because I now have so much stuff it can't be done in a few car loads.

Good luck with the move! As for suppliers, if you go with Npower for both gas and water, and do Direct Debit, they give you rather nice discounts - they quote £50 a year or something I think. I used them at Lymore Avenue and at our new place, and they seem to be reasonably priced. Wessex Water seems to be good, although I dont' know who else supplies water in Bath.
