This was on the ITV News (which I've come to think of as the Live Tabloid News Sevice) yesterday, so not an April Fool:

Trainee Bus Driver and His Trainer don't know Bus Route.

THE HORROR! Yep you read it, a bus driver didn't know where he was going. It's not exactly uncommon, I think I've even had to direct a bus driver before. I'm fairly certain that if you find anyone who used First Buses on a regular occasion they'll tell you about the time when the bus driver didn't know where he was going and went the wrong way.

So as I said in the title it must have been one slow news day.

Yup, sounds about right. I have had several arguments with bus drivers about the bus stop at the end of our parents road - as in they refused to believe it exists and want to take you sailing past to Warminster.

Ludicrous.
