Stuff happens
Feb. 13th, 2004 11:53 amRight just a few things to keep every one up to date.
Firstly the Micra has been repaired. The damage in the end was the bumper was bent (plastic cover and steel reinforcement beam), a broken grill (cracked, and missing some of the connectors), a bent bonnet, one of the brackets the bumper was attached to had bent and a couple of other knocked off clips. I'd taken the bump mostly off a few days ago (as well as removing and checking the radiator etc), and then on Wednesday my Dad and one of my uncles finished fixing the car. Luckily they phoned the dump to find a red Micra had recently being brought in where the body was in perfect condition (the engine had blown up which was why the car was written off). They were able to get all they need to fix the car for £65 which included a new bumper, headlamp, bonnet, radiator. All that's left is replacing the front number plate, and I'll be back driving the Micra while the work that the fiesta needs is finished. The insurance is still happening I have no idea what's happening with regards to it.
In other news P should be seeing the contract with her group this afternoon (I like the ambiguity of this statement I'll leave it as it is) my Dad's going along this to help answer questions that they might have. *Fingers crossed* I hope this works out. It just occurred to me P's going to sign a contract on Friday the 13th, its good she isn't superstitious.
On yes I bought Advanced Wars 2, I'm as hopelessly addicted to this as I was to the first game, which is nice.
