End Dates

Well the end date of the work in London is now Tuesday (which does at least mean I haven't got to do quite as much traveling on Monday), and they might have me back after the August bank holiday to do the proper load testing once they actually have the connections to the data center all in place.

I haven't been out much this week largely for the obvious reason, though other than progressively more police I've not seen any trouble. Considering the hotel is near Paddington this wasn't exactly a surprise. Did meet up with some from my secondary school last night which was interesting. Fascinating to see how people's live diverge and how that alters their perspectives and the rate they visibly age.

Decided at the last minute to not go see my brother's open mike night performance tonight. Having for back to the hotel about 7pm, I didn't fancy immediately heading out again to another unfamiliar part of London.

Tonight I think will be playing more Ghost Trick and then getting to bed early.

Well, I say playing... I haven't switched my DS on for over a month. Fail Kitten.
And another fail is that when I saw Rachael a couple of weeks ago I forgot to take your birthday present so she could pass it to you. Sorry. I will have to get J to take it to Aya next week.

I wouldn't worry, my gaming is more of a hobby, so it ends up consuming a lot of my time. Play when you want to not when you need to.

Also don't worry about getting it to J for Aya just gives us more reasons to see you (not that we need them)

My gaming is a hobby, too; I rarely get obsessed by it and have to continue with a game, it's just as-and-when I feel like playing.

It would be good to see you/Rachael more often (as it would other people) but we never seem to be able to; life gets in the way and time passes. It's the same for all of us. Last time I saw most people was Minami which was five months ago.
So I will give James your gift to pass to you at Aya - he has a couple of things to do on my behalf anyway. Please feel free to prod him (gently) if he forgets - he gets easily distracted, bless him :-p

I'm glad, it's good to know he can do well. Not that I doubted it of course.
