Basingstoke Tomorrow

So I'm starting in Basingstoke tomorrow.
The customer still hasn't convinced their Venture Capitalist investors about the business case. So we're going there anyway, with an agreement that contract can be terminated with 24 hours notice rather than the usual month. Going on the basis the four of us going will be so damn awesome we will justify the business case for the company. Not so much as putting the cart before the horse as expecting the horse to link itself to the cart and then hand you the reins.
Tomorrow is not going to be an easy day. Still as long as I wake up in time to be picked up at 7am I should be ok.

Date: 2011-02-27 07:43 pm (UTC)Some of my work colleagues had to get through a series of very demanding highly technical interviews to work for a customer, only to find on arriving that the customer knew all the terminology and nothing else. Last I heard they were running lecture courses teaching the customer how to code from base principles.
