same_difference | Comedy Weekend

Though comedy in the sense that I went to a comedy gala charity performance with Ardal O’Hanlon, Lee Mack, Milton Jones & Sarah Millican, and not the hilarious tales of minor misfortune sense. General consensus was order of funny Sarah Millican, Lee Mack, Ardal O'Hanlon, the presenter (guy who does the bath comedy walk) and then least funny was Milton Jones. Sarah Millican simply had me and

purplegirl23 laughing the most and most consistently, she from my impression comes under the category of sweet/innocent sounding female comedian who then makes very unsweet/uninnocent humour very much like that other comedian whose name I don't know. Mack was funnier than O'Hanlon though I did personally find O'Hanlon easier to watch, though that might have been as Mack did end his show pretty much yelling at one person in the audience. Milton Jones had his funny moments, and was an oddity in that he was a stand up in the 'just tells a series of jokes' sense, but it was more scatter shot humour. Fired off enough different jokes so that they find someone in the audience who will laugh at that particular one.

Also larped yesterday as today was the busier weekend day, and yesterday was

xanthipe's first experience as the main GM running a game; so I went along to offer support. It rained while I larped. Admittingly I was over an hour and a half late (I'm sleepy on Saturdays), but I was there larping in the rain. I think that's that irrelevant point made.
