Hey Dom,

Sorry for lack of replies/comments to stuff - being back on 56k for Xmas doesn't exactly inspire me to make long posts!

I was just gonna add French to your list of translations (it's not perfect, you might like to get someone else to check it...) -
"Bonjour! Parlez-vous Anglais? Je parle Français un peu. C'etait ça."

Cheers, j. :)

Hmm... my effort is missing "a little". Probably my fault in my haste to make a very poor joke yesterday!!

Apart from the missing semi-colon at the end of the class definition, anyway :-)

Not to mention the "lanuageName" that appears out of nowhere..... :-)

Eeeeek! Schwiizerduutsch scary! (I'm fluent in German and I can make out about 60% of what's written there, and probably less than that when spoken...)

Afrikaans: Hallo, praat jy Engels? Ek praat net 'n bietjie Afrikaans.

Or alternatively, the more polite form (to an older person, say) is:
Hallo. Praat u Engels? Ek praat net 'n bietjie Afrikaans.

My Vlaams is a bit rusty, but I believe the translation would be something like:

Goeiendag! Spreekt jij Engels? Ik spreek een beetje Vlaams. Dat was alles.
