Space Munchkin

After the celebration of
lucy_k_p there was much visiting and attempted cheering up of
ailsa_chan which resulted in among other things with us playing my cope of Space Munchkin for the very first time. Initial impressions are, bonuses are easier to accumulate (
ailsa_chan's +13 dazer-razer-mazer-bananafanafofazer for example), but bad stuff is much worse (as
hotpork discovered as with a bit of help he lost 5 levels to the Space Vampire) than in regular vampire.
Only really mentioning it because of how it ended.
ailsa_chan's LJ-less other half was level 9 and knew he was screwed.
hotpork and I had hands ripe to destroy anyone close to winning, and seeing as it was midnight we went all out. So the level 17 Space Probe, was joined by the level 18 Plasmoid, who with a flourish became the Level 43 Computurised, last Plasmoid of it's race from another dimension (and thereby emptying my hand), only to be joined by a wandering level 20 Great Cthulu*, who after a brief experiment became level 25 and radioactive, and gained a close (there by using
hotpork's hand).
The result the LJ-less one with an effective level of 26 , vs 110** levels of monster.
So it's midnight and we go all in to fight it; grenades, big red buttons and
hotpork sacrificing two levels to rid himself of his antimatter stupidity field (and it's -4 penalty), giving us a total of 96. Technically we could put all the monsters into stasis and escaped, by the lj-less one would have Time Warp-ed us back to the sweet release of death if we tried that.
*Cthulu who had been earlier 'defeated' by me convincing it I was it's boss, bounty hunted out of the discard pile by the LJ-less one, and then pyschically stolen away by
hotpork.
**If we made it the Radioactive Computerised last Great Cthulu of it's race from another dimension, and cloned it we would have had a level 135 fight.
