Right, previous talk of holiday plans has evolved to the stage that we're looking at a trip to York, and are currently prodding possible accommodation of the rented cottage sort.

xanthipe are interested in going (correct me if I'm wrong), once we work out possible dates, but if anyone else has even a vague interest in going on such a holiday please let me know asap, because we can always books somewhere with more rooms. Looking like sometime in the month of August or September, depending on accommodation and when people can do it.

In other news still off work sick, and have spent the time getting a Linux Kubuntu dual boot installed on my desktop, and then having some fun getting it to recognise my wireless usb dongle and connect to the network at home. Still forming opinions, but trying it out and messing about. Though I'm unlikely to end up with

florain style 3D desktops cause I tend to turn off all extra graphical niceties in favour of having everything open and close and operate as quickly as possible.
