OOTS Board game

Just (well about 15 minutes ago) finished a game I was playing with my family. Well I say finished we stopped with Hailey and Roy played by me and my brother clearly in the lead. We started about 8:30ish in the end I think, and had started exploring Xykon's lair which was level 3 on the dungeon (playing the shorter than the short version version).

It seemed to work pretty well, considering I was just explaining the rules to people, and my family don't have a great deal experience with that style of game. Also they want to play it again which seems positive.

I think I know what tactics to suggest people use as each character when trying the game for the first time.

I still wonder what a nasty game would be like, seeing as we had no PvP* and mostly didn't choose to play the nastier monsters.

*We removed Belkar at the start as he is mostly PvP orientated.

Coincidence! Calton Walk had a game of OotS running - was Hailey, and was doing fairly well. However, didn't get very far, as alcohol and distractions were abound.
