I understand point 2 about the hugging completely. I'm extremely tactile, but also very skittish about any kind of physical contact with anyone who isn't a reasonably close friend. Being in a couple means the side of you that needs physical contact is more or less all satisfied by one person. Most of Blades is at least up for the odd tickle fight or hug if the mood takes them, and if you are feeling more confident in yourself to be able to join in with that more often, then that's great :)
