Do you like apples?

My parents have two apples trees in their garden that produce very nice fruit. Last year they got something in the order of 400 pounds of apples from the two trees. This year they have more.

Seeing as there a limit to how many apples you can actually make use of, they said they are happy to give some away. So if you like apples let me know, and I'll get some to you, as long as I actually see you in person to be able to give them to you.

They don't spray their apples with anything, which is good, but does mean you should cut them up when you eat them so you don't get any less than pleasant suprises.

If I get hold of some berries and some jars, I'll make apple & berry jam for christmas presents. So... yeah, I'll take some! You can pass them off to me along with the Amber book! Not tooooo many though. And an idea where I can get empty jamjars would be good as nobody in my house really eats enough jam. I'd assume your parents have an idea where to get them?

Apparently you can get ham jars at the Kitchen Shop, it's on the road off of Milson Street which goes from about a third of the way up accross to the bottom right corner of Queen's Square.

I'd love a bag or so. I make pies with them, which everyone seems to enjoy, so maybe 10 or 12 depending on size?

I'm happy to take any spare off your hands - are they cookers, eaters or mixed?

I'll try and bring some up on Sunday then. They are mixed assuming that you meant that they are fine for both cooking and eating when you said that.
