What style was it before? I had the old S1 Style so was able to reselect it in the manage->customise->modify journal (link) page.
Otherwise a fix I found via a bit of hunting (site news comments so one ranting about the change) is this:
If you haven't already changed it back, or if LJ hasn't already fixed it, go to your userinfo, select "manage" at the top, then select "customize". Put the language to "English", hit submit, at it should bring all your changes back.
