My cunning plan of doing all the work paid off. 15 days became 16 in total and in that time I managed to plan out the full extent of the load test, learn a whole new tool set, produce some 250 odd tests to cover 2500 test cases and suggest a performance improvement they've taken on. There might be some follow on work late August/September when they actually have the system hooked up the proper data centre, but for now I'm done.
Yesterday I met up with Nia at lunch and had Japanese, then met Dez in the evening and had korean. Both were good, though I prefered the Korean. I also tried bubble tea which was odd, but nice.
Anyway one day left of work this week then off on holiday for a cosplay con and then a couple of days gaming with friends.
