Odd Cooking Metaphors...
Jan. 3rd, 2008 04:16 pmTake, sieve and finely chop a statistically unusual set of coincidences, and fold them slowly into a newly forming friendship. Thoroughly wash a great deal of honesty, and stir it into the current mixture to help bind it all together. Add in a variety of small inconsequential and yet positive details to taste. Finally mix well, adding lashings of joy throughout, until the mixture bounces to the touch.
Pour the mixture into appropriately sized dish lined with past experience, and cook on a slow, but steadily increasing heat of interesting conversations for about three weeks.
To make the topping mix together a large quantity of excitement, anticipation and hope with a small mixture of nervousness, apprehension and a dash of fear. After a couple of days of effort it will be ready to coat the base with.
Completely cover the base with the topping, then garnish with a cryptic live journal post, and let stand for a little over two hours before serving.
Serve with an unfortunately timed sore throat, but only in days without snow.
