I enjoyed myself, but found it surprisingly relaxing and easy going; of course I have still been sleepy today. Weather wasn't great, but coped very well with by GM's and in all honesty while it's nice to take advantage of a larger site, it's also nice not to have to march out across sand dunes.
Glass in wood chip issues, and other little hints of a degrading of the quality of the care on the site (though in this case I'd like to think, the deceased previous site owner was appreciated in his time, not just after it) raise concerns about it, with a note to future.
All in all the weekend was a little odd, and I couldn't get into the mood for larping ('SPORES!' goblin zombies not withstanding) was entirely to do with the feeling of something bad was happening/going to happen that was dominating my mood for the Friday and most of the Saturday. There's enough precedent in my family that you take such things seriously, and so I was much relieved when it seemed to lift and after phoning home to confirm the lack on incident. Here's hoping it was averted and not just that I was looking in all the wrong places to see what it was.
In other news getting ill not just killed the mopeyness for it's duration, but since then too. Which is good.
