OOTS Board game - beaten!
Nov. 19th, 2006 10:37 pmI went to House of Argh yesterday and actually finished a game!
5 players, zero PvP, but much screwing of other characters with Screw This! cards and Belkar removed as a possible PC to keep the game friendly. Short game formal version (3 floors + the lair), estimated time 2-4 hours.
7-7.5 hours later (with about an hour break for dinner) we completed the game.
ailsa_chan won playing as Durkon with a sizeable margin from having all her Shticks and beating Zykon. She defeated Zykon by using a 'I forgot I could do that', obtained from repeated invokings of W.W.T.D. to remove his stat boosting support ability and turning undead for the win.
The other notable was a 54 attack, 56 defence Kobold shaman on top of a stack of around 40 monsters (including nearly all the linear guild) sitting on floor 3. Near an 30 something attack and defense orc summoner sitting on a 20 something stack. Yes, all the demon roaches were on that floor, how did you guess?
At some point I may have to run a weekend killer, now to find a weekend to kill.
