Magic Item Silliness
Sep. 21st, 2006 09:54 pmSo new rules mean permenant items are much easier to get hold of. The upshot of this is that Cumberland will inevitably end up investing in the points and groats required for permanant life shield 1 and detect undead. There's just no reason not too.
The true silliness come with Aurinyan. I can and will have (in about 6 points time) an item of permanant displaced image 1, giving me a free dodge every 15 minutes during the day.
I could also have Permenant Invisibility. I'd have to find a unique item and lose 20 mana, but, but permanant invisibility I'm not sure I can entirely imagine what that would be like.
Permanant Radiance (self) has also been suggested, but a spell that dispels every time I move, but makes my armour spells work normally would just be far too confusing in a fight. Also the turning the light on and off all the time would be irritating.
Still much much silliness, and this is only off the top of my head stuff.
