P in Switzerland
Aug. 21st, 2006 12:06 amWhich is why I'm still awake. I'm very glad she gets to see that part of her family that is over there, especially considering it will be that much harder to do for her final year. Thankfully the flight across from Heathrow was completed with minimum fuss and no problems with security. I must admit I was a little distracted yesterday until I received the text confirming she was there safe and sound.
Now all I have to do is keep a careful eye on my eating and sleeping habits, which always threaten to collapse into a bad state whenever P is not about.
So yes I will go sleep, in a second.
The train journey back was fine. Many thanks to my friend
jeat for ferrying me to my second train, with 7 minutes to spare, once we discovered first train was running late, and 10 minutes between connections was not enough. Just before getting on the second train I found the first one's delay was about 20 minutes, I wonder vaguely how late it ended up being. I actually benefited from late trains in Bristol allowing me to catch a earlier train to Bath than I'd though removing the anticipated 20 minute wait.
