Celebratory Stuff
Oct. 25th, 2005 05:52 pmYesterday we made home made pizzas, and today we finished eating them. That's to say we still have at least the same amount of dough left again. We have lots of dough because we didn't know how much the recipe we had was for, so we roughly doubled. The pizza's we had were huge because we completely underestimated how much they would rise - clearly the difference between a thin crust and a deep pan is more than just the thickness they roll out the dough to. The pizza were still very good today, and making them was good fun - so not bad all in all considering it was a first attempt.
Tonight to round off our celebrations we're going to see the Moscow City Ballet perform Cinderella at the Theatre Royal. Apparently they're one of the best ballet's groups, so it should be good. I'm looking forward to it, though in a kind of I'm not sure what to expect but will probably enjoy it kind of way. Technically I have been to a ballet before, but that was years ago for a secondary school trip.
Anyway need to get ready.
