I decided to spare a Sunday and larp, with three weeks of solid coursework to look forward to it seemed like a good idea to go out and do something different. Since the weather was supposed to be good I decided to go today.

The weather was good, in fact it was perfect for larping. The sky was overcast, but the weather was warm, their was no rain and the air was pleasantly dry. The larp itself was so much fun, I was monstering as I haven't the time to have a character this year, and it was being run by [livejournal.com profile] almosthonest with a little extra plot from [livejournal.com profile] kipperfish. Technically it was repeat of an evil Tim larp from years ago, minus the evil bit.

As a monster I got to fight and die mores time than I can count, stood toe to toe and fought one on one with the bulk of the party, completed a ritual as a necromancer right as a party arrived to stop me, argued with an enraged barbarian, dropped a party member and then acted as a VERY surprised goblin, caught the mage by surprise several times, berserked as an ogre fighting a group of scouts and generally had an amazing time.

My only wish is that I hadn't been so out of practise and pulled my blows at first as well as I should. Sorry to anyone I hit too hard.

Current attempts to contact me tally: One letter, one post card, three phone calls.
