fourmyle I now have costume for my LT character, or at least I will do when he finishes making it for me. Thanks fourmyle you've been a great help, still not sure what I would have done otherwise, thinking back on it now. Oh and thanks to alexrothis for suggesting him.
The costume is basically a jerkin (think waist coat that goes down to you knees). It's going to be various mostly clashing shades of green and the odd bit of red, with many patches and (possibly) even more pockets. The odd bit's of red and the various clashing shades of green is because the character is red-green colour blind, and won't be able to tell the difference.fourmyle's also planning to make me several pouches and possibly a hood too, both I assume in a similar style to the jerkin.
All in all it sounds very good, especially considering I won't have to make it.
Thanks tofourmyle also for the many pockets to put random stuff in idea. I like it, so I'll be collecting random junk that I can pull out when I'm trying to find something, looked confused at, and then put back on the basis that I must have picked it up for a good reason.
I'm still very excited by the character, it should be a lot of fun. At least the fact that all conversations about him end up with me and other people laughing, is a good sign.
Lest I forget to mention it otherwise:
almosthonest I have been offered a lift with marmaladecat but it's very much dependant on how much room she has after all of her and drabbit's stuff has been put in. Is there any chance I could go up to the gathering with you? This has the advantage that I won't have to wait for you to arrive before I can time in (or vice versa). I should call you about it on Monday. Please text me if I don't.
