I am of course referring to the fact that last night was the last in the current series of Black Books. It always ends far too soon, especially when you accidentally miss the first half of the last episode.

Now all I have to do it wait for the DVD to come out, but seeing as it took two years for them to release series 2 (handily timed for the airing of series 3) I could be waiting a while. Thankfully as anyone who bothered to read the enormous LJ post below will know I have the first two series on DVD to tide me over.

In other news I finished watching Fushigi Yugi with P yesterday. The series isn't bad I can certainly see why [livejournal.com profile] ladyhawk_013 likes it (Bishis everwhere, there are whole families of the damn things). Of course its also incredibly frustrating to watch especially if you don't know the story doesn't end at the end of the first series. Anyone who's seen it agree will with me that Miaka should be shot. It's her tendency to solve problems by 1)wandering away from all those who can protect her, while lying to them, 2)getting herself trapped/kidnapped/nearly killed and then 3) waiting for someone else to turn up and nearly kill themselves trying to save her.

On a even more annoying note T-mobile are giving me problems. I've recently bought a new phone with orange and want to transfer my number across, so I try T-mobiles customer service line and completely fail to find an option to get a PAC code or talk to a real person (and not a recorded menu). So I go online and try their equally annoying form to email customer services (yes you have to fill out a form, yes it's fairly unclear: when was my last bill, how much was it? I'm on pay as you go, don't get b***dy bills). Well they finally emailed me back to say...

Ring the customer service number, GRAH. *rampages at evil company*

Now off on a picnic with P.

Thanks to P I now know where in the customer service options I have to go to talk to someone. However there is a very good reason why I couldn't find it and she could:

'Based on customer feedback we have made change to our automated service'

pipes the recorded voice down the phone to me, I think I can guess what sort of feedback that would have been. Now I'm going to make a phone call from her house phone as there 'free' customer service number costs 25p a minute to talk to a real person. Least I'm almost rid of them, I hope.

So I phone from a land line to find, that I can't even access there full automated service unless I ring from my mobile. I might still be able to talk to someone but we'll have to see if it'll actually be useful. Currently there is a 10 minute wait to talk to someone so I'll try again later.
