almosthonest, well I took a situation in his life, offered him an alternative perspective and gave him some possible courses of action to take based upon a logical analysis of the facts.
It worked. I'm good at giving advice, though its not really advice in 'this is what I think you should do' sense of the word.
Technically as its been pointed out to me I'm good at manipulating people. I must never use this power for evil ;-).
