Bonus weekend update

same_differenceSo seven updates in seven days, I think that's one change in behaviour made this week.

xanthipe and dantarian over Saturday evening and made and fed them spaghetti and meatballs; then enjoyed some good conversations. I don't think we talked too much larp which was good for Rachael's sake. It was the first time I've made meatballs by myself, and they turned out well which was good. I do really like the combination of lamb and beef mince as a flavour, something I'd definitely recommend. Even better we have some meatballs left over and will be having them again another day this week.
Today went to supportgunstarvixen run the Bath half was a bright, but cold afternoon. Didn't see her when she went past on the way out at the 1 mile mark, but did see her coming back again at the 1 mile to go mark (which was the same place). Trying to spot one blond runner when you don't know what they're wearing in a sea of people was a bit like trying to spot a needle in a moving haystack. Think we ended up with marathon runner blindness by the end of it to the point we were probably looking at gunstarvixen for about 30 seconds before we recognised her.
Also I still don't think buying a car has sunk in yet, though may be because I don't physically have it in my possession yet.
