Whilst I have complete faith in doctors, I will warn you that they often have sod all idea of what to do with tension headaches. They threw stronger and stronger painkillers at Caroline, including one that actually had the side-effect of "Will cause headaches" (!).
We actually broke the tension headaches cycle with two sessions with a hypnotherapist in the end. I can recommend one if you like.
