The Spirit is pretty dire, to be honest.
The dialogue and plot are aweful and the characters are dull. Sin City was good because of the characters and the acting, very gritty and subtle in many ways. The Spirit is perhaps a bit too "comic book" whilst trying to look stylish and dramatic.
