Holiday

I appear to have 14 days holiday to take before the end of September, this is after having booked off time around the two 36 hours. Anyway I think I'd quite like to go on some sort of holiday to somewhere this year, ideally with friends. Beyond that I'm a little short on ideas.

So any opinions from anyone, with holiday they want to take and do something with?

If you want to do anything in July, I'd be quite willing.

Just doesn't appeal for many many reasons, beginning with the concept and going from there onwards...

Also doesn't use up holiday.

Long mid week in Cambridge?

My weekends tend to be fully booked up with things most of the time.

First question: this country or a different one?

Either really.

Just as long as I can get along reasonably well as as an ignorant English only speaking person.

I find being in countries that primarily don't speak English stressful, especially when I discovered I can't even tell if someone is addressing me, unless I can see them.

Commenting here, becaue otherwise I'll forget - Ross on Wye is the name of the village with all the second hand bookshops. If you really like books (like I do) there's enough there to keep you occupied for 3 or 4 days. Is definately worth a visit.

Bugger, sorry, Hay on Wye.
