Seeker Harold Cumberland's kit

Right I'm posting this here partially to remind myself and partially in the hope that my friends may provide useful suggestions. So here's the list:

Immediate requirements:
Lab Coat - have managed to get an unwanted one from Flo.
Waistcoat - not found. May need to be big enough to go over platemail, or think enough to pad underneath it I haven't decided yet.
Brown Material - to cover belt bag I already have.
Belt bags - 1 that can be covered with cloth to make suitable, could use more.
Plate Mail:
- Chest. Still trying to source, for less than £150 if at all possible
- Vambraces. Still trying to source. Best possibility so far is £52 from larp store.
- Greaves. Still trying to source. Hopefully for not to dissimilar cost as greaves.
White hair spray, that washes out easily - need to find and buy.
Dyes for fingers and hands, that washes out easily - not sure what to use. Does anyone know if food dye will work

Long term requirement:
Plastic beakers, test tubes and holders for 36 hour experiments. Possibly use a kids chemistry set.

For fabric, I recommend Fun Fabrics in Green street if you want somewhere in bath, Fabric land in Bristol if you can get further afield. The guildhall market has a great stand with lots of accessories (ribbons, buttons, piping feathers, bead etc).

Charity shops are best bet for a waistcoat, if you can find a big one you will be able to buy fabric to pad it.

The saturday markek at the bottom of walcot street has a stand that sells furs. You might find something there, though it won't be cheap as in a charity shop.
