Sunday of games

Had [livejournal.com profile] sephnoir and [livejournal.com profile] captain_j_m over on Sunday. I made a curry, and we chatted and played a couple of games.

We played Betrayal in the House on the Hill in which we unleashed a blob leaving [livejournal.com profile] captain_j_m as the traitor. [livejournal.com profile] sephnoir was immediately blobified as she spawned it out of move, and [livejournal.com profile] purplegirl23 and I were on one side of the ground floor with the blob between us and the stairs (And no one had explored upstairs at all). We made a good go of it, and managed to off [livejournal.com profile] captain_j_m via dynamite and pistols but I found myself buried under plaster in a dead end, and [livejournal.com profile] purplegirl23 was stuck in the catacombs. Unable to roll enough sanity to leave (though it should have been possible), she resorted to trying to shoot herself, and failed 4 times in a row before met a blobbing end. All in all fun, but I think once again we were doomed from the off.

I then got them to play the latest iteration of my card game. They had fun which is good, nothing seemed horribly unbalanced, so all in all I'm pretty happy with where it's at. I want to experiment with a card cycling ability to help out players when they just can't draw what they need, but what I really need is lots more playtesting.
