I has a new monitor
It is a very shiny 23" wide screen HD monitor. It arrived yesterday and I'm still geeking out over it. Then again it's replacing a decade old 19" CRT, when the sizes referred to tube depth.
Basically the old monitor was impractically deep for my new computer desk in the lounge so I had to buy a shiney new one. What a hardship...

On the other hand I wish finding and purchasing a car was as simple as getting a new monitor. Though I really need to put more effort into finding one than I have been. At least I now have a better idea of what I'm after.
