So 2010...
Last year was definitely the year of the house, in the sense that it feels while a lot has happened (I mean I bought and proceeded to renovate a house for goodness sake) it does feel like a lot has been on hold. Especially socialising, and considering my one mental hang up from the teenage years I've never been able to entirely shift is to convince myself I'm much more on the periphery of social groups than I probably am, this is not a good thing.
So this year I really really like to see all of you lot a lot more, and get to know various people a lot better. The house is nearly there,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
purplegirl23 and I have started this new year decorating the lounge, hopefully though (with much luck and hard graft) we'll have done by the time the sofa arrives on Tuesday.
So while there will inevitably be a house warming sometime in the near future, please consider this as a polite as possible way to make the very not polite request that you considerpurplegirl23 and I when making social plans.
