Pulteney Wier in Flood

As I remembered and brought my camera, here (below the cut) are the best ones in my opinion. I have a few more shots, and all of them larger, in case anyone really wants a copy for some reason.

Here you can see the river level completely submerges the weir.

The weir is under water

The footpath from just next to not-pulteney bridge. I overheard someone mention the water was higher earlier, enough to partially submerge the benches, so I wouldn't have been able to stand where I took this.

Footpath closed, because of flooding.

View of Not-Pulteney bridge, the floating ramp to the boats is level with the path.

Not Pulteney Bridge

View from Not Pulteney Bridge, showing the path flooding more clearly.

From not Pulteney Bridge

Views from next to the Guildhall market, the weir is submerged, but you can see the affect it has on the water flow
Flooded Path

Nearly Flooded Path

Rapid water no weir

At night, after work, some 8 hours later, you can see the water level hasn't really dropped.

Still no weir, taken from stairs heading up to Pulteney Bridge

Footpath closed, taken at stairs down from not-Pulteney Bridge

And for comparison here's a not flooded image, I found on the net:

Path
